Know your triggers

Knowing your triggers is the first step in dealing with them. Knowing your triggers helps you stay in control. You can avoid situations that might trigger your urge to smoke at first and then apply other coping mechanisms later.

Triggers are everyday activities or situations that make you want to smoke. Everyone has their own triggers, like drinking coffee, stress or socializing with friends. Knowing yours will help you make a plan to beat the cravings to smoke.
